We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to oversee the gatehouse operations at our client site in Bathurst. This role involves regular face-to-face interactions with contractors, truck drivers, and couriers, requiring excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to enforce site entry protocols.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position under the L2 Security Award, with an average of 32-38 hours per week across various shifts scheduled over a 6-week period.
**Weekly Rostered Hours**:
- Week 1: Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Every third week: Weekend Night shift, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
**What We're Looking For**:
- A valid security license for Victoria and a current first aid certificate.
- Experience managing gatehouse security operations, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deliveries, perform data entry, and ensure strict compliance with site protocols.
- Confidence in observing, reporting, and responding to incidents effectively.
- Previous experience with gatehouse and weighbridge operations is preferred.
