Working with us
* Base salary ranges between $75,090 and $103,261 p.a. (HWF3).
* For 1 year, you will receive an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. If you stay for 2 years, you will get AUD$10,500, and for your 3rd year (and every year after that), you will get AUD$7,000.
* Providing 2 return airfares per year (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
* Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual.

In collaboration with the Cardiac Services multidisciplinary team, the Advanced Health Worker delivers culturally safe and effective cardiac health services.
Requirements
* Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (QLD), there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
* Successful completion of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) - Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health or Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
* Applicants without the mandatory qualification but with relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities are encouraged to apply and commit to completing the qualification within an agreed timeframe.
* Experience in cardiac conditions and health promotion is desirable but not essential.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks, will be conducted.
* The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires a 'working with children check' prior to appointment.
* This role is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
