Byron Shire Council is currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Multi Skilled Plant operators. The Multi Skilled Plant Operator position plays a key role in providing a high level of service in the construction and maintenance of Councils' Infrastructure.
Primarily seeking truck drivers and excavator operators. Applicants that operate a array of machinery within accredited licence requirements are encouraged to also apply. Plant operation experience may include but is not limited to excavator, loader, grader, backhoe, low loader/float, tipper truck, prime mower, crane truck operators. - Operate major plant and trucks and hold the required Safework tickets / Licences.
- Maintain major plant and trucks in accordance manufacture specification.

This position is based at Byron Depot, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
