What you will do In the Senior Data Analyst role, you will: * undertake data analysis projects as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of data supporting quality assurance and senior student assessment programs * analyse and prepare data to support the issuing of Senior Education Profiles (SEP) and National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) reports, using tools such as R, SQL, Ruby on Rails, R Markdown, Microsoft Power BI, LaTeX and version control software * contribute to all stages of assessment and reporting programs, from the design and development of data projects through to implementation, including data extraction, analysis, and the production and distribution of complex, customised reports with findings and recommendations * provide advice to internal managers and staff on data analysis, data extraction and reporting methodologies * apply knowledge of database design and querying to maintain QCAA databases, ensuring they support accurate analysis and timely policy advice * assist with quality assurance processes for large-scale datasets used in NAPLAN preparation, generation of Senior Education Profiles, and the marking of senior external assessments.
