Job Title: Cloud Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Canberra. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement, configure, and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure management and governance across on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge environments.
• Integrate non-Azure resources with Azure services for unified management and monitoring.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure services.
• Develop and maintain hybrid cloud solutions bridging on-premises and Azure environments.
• Create automation scripts using ARM templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell; implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor and optimise cloud resources using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Ensure security compliance and manage identity/access controls via Azure AD and RBAC.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure and Azure Arc-related issues.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports on cloud infrastructure performance.
• Stay updated on Azure and Azure Arc advancements and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, with strong expertise in Azure services.
• Solid understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managed services environments with on-call and shift flexibility.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Arc implementation and management.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-305, or Azure Specialty certifications).
