We're looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join the Adelaide Isuzu team at Hamstead Gardens. In this role, you'll play a vital part in servicing, maintaining, and repairing both private and commercial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure every job is completed to the highest standards, efficiently and safely, keeping our customers confidently on the road.
Adelaide Isuzu is a full-service automotive dealership, offering vehicle sales, parts, servicing, and repairs. We're proud to represent iconic brands including Isuzu Trucks, Iveco Trucks, Isuzu UTE, and KGM SsangYong.
What You'll Do:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
* Plan jobs and order required parts
* Work to job card requirements and timelines
* Identify and report any additional repair needs
* Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
* Maintain a strong focus on safety in every task
What You'll Bring:
* Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (essential)
* Strong diagnostic skills (essential)
* Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic (essential)
* Current driver's licence (essential)
* Retail workshop experience (desirable)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation abilities
