Working Monday to Friday - 7.30m - 3.30pm Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney About the Role: CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.
As a CBRE Handyperson, you will perform general maintenance and corrective repair of assets and building systems across our client sites.
What you'll do:
• Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
Completes maintenance and repair records as required
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Reviews assigned work orders.
Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
• Maintains lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Completes HSE reports in a timely and consistent manner
• Participates in and completes all CBRE training and course material within assigned deadlines.
What you'll need:
• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant/Handyperson, White Card and driving licence
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads in compliance with the rules defined by the applicable H S regulation.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Good customer relationship skills.
