We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead complex, high-value ICT and cloud-focused sourcing initiatives. This senior role is responsible for delivering end-to-end procurement activities, including market strategy, RFT development, evaluation and contract execution, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes. They will oversee multiple procurement projects concurrently, provide high-quality commercial advice and contribute to broader procurement capability uplift. The ideal candidate is a customer-centric procurement leader with strong strategic, analytical and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, strategic, accurate, responsive advice and support for the procurement and supply of ICT solutions
* Provide strong leadership and expert procurement advice to the client on the complex Cloud procurement
* Effectively apply procurement and contracting principles, as well as legal interpretation and application, legislative rules, policy and governance in order to facilitate workable, defensible solutions for procurement projects
* Produce and assure high quality briefing material, communication artefacts, status updates etc.
Essential Criteria
* Relevant tertiary qualifications of interest include a Certificate IV in Government (Procurement & Contracting) or a Certificate VI Advanced Diploma of Government (Procurement & Contracting); or the ability to obtain certification based on prior experience; or tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, business administration or the equivalent or evidence of study.
