About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Roofing Technician to help us continue providing the highest quality roofing solutions in Canberra. Positions available where your skills will be put to use on a variety of residential and commercial projects, from intricate repairs to large-scale installations. We’re not just repairing roofs—we're building trust and ensuring the long-term integrity of our clients' homes.
What you'll be doing:
- Inspections: Conduct thorough roof inspections to identify issues and recommend precise solutions.
- Installation: Expertly install a range of roofing systems, including metal & tile roofing, fascia, guttering & required flashings.
- Repairs: Execute skillful repairs and maintenance to extend the life of a roof.
- Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them to the best solutions for their needs.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain our high standards for safety and workmanship on every project.
What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a roofing technician.
- Solid knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- The ability to read and interpret technical plans and building codes.
- A proven track record of solving complex problems with smart, effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills and a qualified demeanor with clients.
- The physical capacity to work safely at heights and in diverse weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license, your own tools, and reliable transportation.
- Essential Requirements: Working at heights cert, construction white card, asbestos awareness & silica awareness required.
