**About Junior Engineers**:
Established in 2013, Junior Engineers delivers rich programs in computer programming and robotics to school kids from prep to year 10. Our unparalleled syllabus and teaching methods sets kids up for success in a future career in technology. Junior Engineers is a national company that delivers its proprietary syllabus in over 60 schools and in partnership with Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) providers across Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales.
**The Role**:
We are seeking passionate university students, graduates, tutors, teachers and working professionals that have a background in computer science, engineering, software/IT, mechatronics and other related fields to become a part-time instructor for the company and to teach children under 17 years of age, basic software programming skills.
Junior Engineers offers a complete induction program and ongoing professional development to keep your knowledge current and to maintain your skillset in technology, computer programming and robotics.
**Requirements**:
- Direct tutoring experience is not necessary, but a passion for excellence in children's education is
- Proficiency in computer programming and a strong passion for technology
- After school hours, weekend or school holiday availability
- Dedication, commitment and passion for tutoring and educating kids
- Please make specific note of experience with any of the following:
- Arduino coding and robotics
- Scratch coding
- Small Basic coding
- Python coding
**Locations**:
We host our program in multiple locations across Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. We also run a of classes online for small group sessions and one-on-one tutoring.
