One of those decisions is: who do you decide to work for?How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?As our new Fire Protection Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the Building Fire Protection Services Team who are changing the way we design and deliver works to minimise carbon footprint and sustainable across all types of Civic, Defence, Commercial, and Retail projects. Your role will include;Liaising of client, stakeholders, and relevant Local AuthoritiesWorking closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to incorporate fire services solutions seamlessly into building designs.Design of Fire Hydrant and Fire Hose Reel systems, sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm system, and other special suppression systems and ensuring designs meet Australian fire codes, standards, and local authority requirements for safety and legal complianceReport writing and creation of project SpecificationMentoring of peersHow will your future be shaped by us?You really can bring your whole self to work and be confident your voice will be heard. Specifically;Proven experience designing and implementing Wet and Dry fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, smoke control, and passive fire safety solutions.Strong knowledge of NCC, Local Authority and Australian Standard requirements for fire protection services.Team player who embraces the Aurecon diversity working culture.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate services solutions seamlessly.Mid to Senior level of experienceExperienced with the latest digital industry software (Revit, BIM, Revizto, PDF)RPEV and/or RPEQ accreditationThink you know Aurecon?
