Warrnambool City Council is seeking an energetic and strategic Coordinator Sales and Marketing to lead the promotion and sales of one of the region’s most iconic tourism attractions – Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum Village.
Flagstaff Hill is the largest and most significant tourist attraction and visitor information hub on the Great Ocean Road. It features a maritime museum, an 1870s recreated village, the spectacular \"Tales of the Shipwreck Coast\" night experience, a visitor information centre and gift shop– welcoming over 180,000 visitors annually.
Reporting to the Manager City Activation and working closely with the Service Manager – Flagstaff Hill Operations, this role is responsible for the coordination of all sales, marketing, and visitor information services associated with Flagstaff Hill, as well as broader destination marketing for Warrnambool’s thriving visitor economy.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic, organised, and creative leader who has:
* Demonstrated experience in tourism, sales, or marketing (preferably within a visitor economy or local government context).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects or campaigns.
* A strong understanding of destination marketing, customer service excellence, and digital communication tools.
* The ability to think strategically and operationally to deliver measurable results in visitor engagement and economic growth.

This is a permanent full time position, with a starting salary of $90,935 per annum (pro-rata) + superannuation.
