Key Responsibilities * Lead, coach, train, a team of 3 warehouse staff. * Ensure forklifts are maintained, including daily charging and battery water checks. * Manage inbound and outbound freight, including loading/unloading trucks and containers. * Prepare for incoming containers, including pallet allocation and racking space requirements. * Check incoming deliveries against paperwork and ensure stock is put away within 48 hours. * Pick and prepare stock requisitions and OTS orders in line with production schedules and dispatch requirements. * Update all stock movements and bin locations in Ostendo/Odoo within required time frames. * Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records. * Manage customer returns, assess product quality, and coordinate stock adjustments and credits with Customer Service and Purchasing. * Manage dispatch operations, freight bookings, pallet labelling, and customer collections. * Ensure delivery documentation is accurately filed and returned to the office. * Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, including operating the ride-on sweeper, waste management, and ensuring aisles and fire exits remain clear. * Liaise with waste and recycling providers for skip bin, cardboard, and plastic collections. * Continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations and safety. Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager role within manufacturing. * Proven ability to lead and develop a small team. * Current LF Forklift Licence essential. * LO Licence preferred or willingness to obtain. * Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures. * Experience using ERP systems such as Ostendo or Odoo highly regarded. * Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workloads. * Reliable, hands-on, and proactive approach.
