We are currently seeking a Demand Planner – Home Solutions to join our Supply Chain Planning team within GSC Pacific. This is a critical role supporting our Australia and New Zealand businesses, driving forecast excellence, enabling supply chain readiness, and supporting our regional growth ambitions.
Role Purpose
The Demand Planner is responsible for leading and animating the collaborative demand forecasting process across key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Key Customers, and Country teams across AU and NZ.
The role plays a pivotal part in the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, delivering accurate, unconstrained demand signals to enable supply planning decisions, optimize working capital, and ensure best‐in‐class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead end‐to‐end demand forecasting for Home Solutions, managing both OG and IG demand
2. Develop and maintain high‐quality statistical forecasts, including causal and outlier analysis
3. Drive collaborative demand reviews with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Key Customers
4. Coordinate Product Life Cycle Management events (NPI, EOL, promotions, pricing changes)
5. Integrate project pipelines into demand planning for project‐driven portfolios
6. Own forecast accuracy performance (MAPE, Bias), including root cause analysis and corrective actions
7. Act as a key contributor to SIOP and IBP cycles across the Pacific region
8. Provide unconstrained demand to supply planning to enable supply chain readiness
9. Support inventory optimization and service‐level improvements (OTD, BOL, OTDC)
10. Leverage digital tools and analytics to enhance forecasting performance and visibility
11. Continuously improve demand planning processes aligned with Schneider Production System standards
Qualifications & Experience
12. Master's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
13. Proven experience in supply chain planning (demand, supply, logistics, or production)
14. Advanced expertise in statistical forecasting and demand modeling
15. Planning certification (IBF or equivalent) strongly preferred
16. Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and forecasting tools (Kinaxis preferred)
17. Strong MS Excel and Business Intelligence skills (e.g. Tableau)
