Therapist Position
We are seeking a skilled therapist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide professional therapy services, including individual, group, and family sessions, as well as crisis management when necessary.
Job Responsibilities
* Diagnose clients' problems by collecting and evaluating information about their situation.
* Develop treatment plans by establishing treatment goals with the client and determining treatment methodologies.
* Advise clients by suggesting and exploring resolutions, discussing progress toward goals.
* Obtain services by initiating referrals.
* Monitor progress toward treatment goals by evaluating and adjusting services provided.
* Assure quality service for clients by enforcing rules, regulations, and legal requirements with clients, documenting events of the therapeutic process in a confidential manner.
* Maintain agency credibility by establishing working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies.
* Promote the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients, publicizing activities and accomplishments, and adhering to a professional code of ethics.
* Stay up-to-date with professional knowledge and best practices by participating in workshops and reviewing relevant publications.
* Provide clinical experience for interns by negotiating learning objectives, supervising practice, and teaching theoretical concepts and their application.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology).
* Professional licensure (e.g., LMSW, PLPC).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to engage clients and families effectively.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
