Administrative Support Role
We're seeking a professional to provide administrative support across our busy clinics. As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring their experience is smooth and respectful.
Responsibilities:
* Appointment bookings and management: Coordinate appointments, reschedule as needed, and communicate with patients effectively.
* Liaising with healthcare teams: Work closely with hospital staff, doctors, and clinical teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
* Patient data management: Verify patient GP referrals and Medicare data accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
* Communication and reception: Answer incoming calls professionally, respond to patient queries, and process billing and receipting for patient accounts.
* System support: Efficiently use our Health Track system to support the team and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
* Administration or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or aged care.
* Strong time management and prioritization skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, providing empathetic support to patients and colleagues alike.
* Confidence in medical account processing, with preferred experience in Medicare and DVA claims.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances.
