About the role
Coastwide Ready-mix Concrete is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in West Gosford NSW 2250. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base within the construction market.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your strategic sales approach and industry expertise will be instrumental in achieving Coastwide Readymix Concrete's ambitious growth targets.
What you'll be doing
* Actively prospecting and generating new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and other outreach activities
* Developing and executing effective sales strategies to win new business
* Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and upselling opportunities
* Providing excellent customer service and addressing any client queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and providing regular progress reports
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and product knowledge to deliver informed and consultative sales support
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably within the concreting industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Highly organised and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close deals
* Adaptable and resilient, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, or a related field would be highly regarded
