Container Exchange (COEX) is a not-for-profit organization managing QLD’s Containers for Change. Our vision is ‘no container goes to waste,’ and we are committed to environmental, social, and economic impacts. Since 2018, we've kept over 10 billion containers out of landfill and returned more than $1 billion in refunds to communities.
The Role
This is a new position during an exciting growth phase. As Manager, Growth, you will develop and execute strategies to expand our COEX Partners program, working with government agencies, corporations, and nonprofits. You will report to the Executive General Manager of Growth and Acquisition and:
1. Lead and develop a high-performing team fostering accountability and improvement.
2. Build and maintain strategic partnerships to drive growth.
3. Lead cross-functional initiatives aligning with enterprise strategy.
4. Engage with leadership, contribute to strategic planning and reporting.
5. Identify opportunities through stakeholder collaboration.
6. Manage external agencies and oversee budgets and KPIs.
7. Promote a culture of innovation and operational efficiency.
Who You Are
Aligned with our values—proactivity, valuing others, teamwork, contribution, transparency—you should also have a passion for sustainability and strong relationship skills. Key qualifications include:
1. Experience in corporate communications, sustainability, and CSR principles.
2. Proven success in building strategic partnerships during growth phases.
3. Strong leadership and team development skills.
4. Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
5. Effective problem-solving abilities.
6. Understanding of environmental strategies or ability to learn quickly.
7. Tertiary qualification in relevant fields (preferred).
8. Blue card or ability to obtain one.
