Job Description The Procurement Manager is responsible for the replenishment process for internal brands with a focus on acquisition of stock, materials and services at the best possible price and quality, ensuring a steady supply and managing supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Vendor and Supplier Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with external vendors or suppliers to optimise product assortments, ensuring a diverse and competitive product offering for the respective category. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to evaluate performance, quality, and compliance. Conduct supplier assessments and select suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, and reliability. Create and manage purchase orders Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly. Strategy And Risk Contribute to procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, maximize quality and efficiencies. Report on key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times. Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain. Address supply chain disruptions to maintain continuous operations. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in procurement, replenishment, supply chain management or a related role. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software such as Netstock, Cin7 or other related tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
