Technical Lead
to join one of our clients on a
12-month contract
based in Melbourne, supporting both new initiatives and established legacy systems.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front, solving real problems, and working closely with delivery teams.
What you'll be doing
* Translating business and user needs into well-designed technical solutions
* Leading the design and delivery of application features and enhancements
* Working closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders
* Setting and maintaining strong standards around code quality, reviews, and monitoring
* Delivering unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing
* Applying proven design patterns and development standards
* Staying across emerging technologies, tools, and delivery practices
* Contributing to team ceremonies and broader IT initiatives
What you'll bring
* 5+ years' experience in
C# .NET development
* Strong capability across
application and solution design
* Experience with
Azure
,
microservices
, and
AKS
* Exposure to
on-prem environments
, including servers, networking, and vendor-supported platforms
* Solid SQL experience (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
* Comfortable working in
Agile delivery environments
Nice to have
* Exposure to
AWS
and/or
Python
* Experience within the
energy sector
