Due to an internal promotion, Watt Utilities, a dynamic and growing energy procurement business, is looking for a Senior Office Administrator to keep us all on track and do the invisible but highly valuable work in the background that makes our lives easier We are seeking a highly capable and administratively proficient professional to support our management and sales teams. This is a crucial role where your professionalism and helpful nature will shine.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will professionally undertake a wide range of office, business, and sales administrative duties.
* Providing administrative support to the management and sales teams
* Assisting with accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and end‑of‑month processes in Xero, as well as fortnightly payroll
* Raising invoices and performing data entry for credit/debit card receipts
* Being the welcoming first point of contact by answering and redirecting incoming phone calls
* Coordinating internal and external business events
* Supporting HR with onboarding and off‑boarding tasks
* Handling travel bookings and overseeing the office open/close procedures
* General office administration, including ordering stationery, groceries, merchandise, and overseeing the cleanliness/tidiness of the kitchen and boardroom
What You Bring To The Team
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Senior Office Administrator role
* A self‑motivated approach and excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with good analytical and problem‑solving ability
* Excellent administrative and IT skills, with strong spelling and grammar
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office package and using various CRM's
* Employment Hero experience is a bonus
* A friendly, professional, and approachable demeanour, ensuring the highest level of customer service for both internal and external customers
