**ABOUT THE ROLE AND CLIENT**
Our client is a Queensland Local Government agency. They are currently seeking an experienced
**Business Process Excellence Lead** for their office based in Logan Central. This role is a short-term opportunity where you will join the Portfolio Management Office and coordinate the Business Process Excellence services for the organisation.
**ROLES AND RESPOSNIBILITY**
- Provide expert project management leadership
- Represent the Branch as a lead for the Business Process Excellence service offerings and associated projects
- Provide high level, professional, specialist services such as:
- Specialist business process excellence advice
- Conduct high level analysis of systems, processes, information, and reports
- Lead and manage onboarding and training
- Successfully motivate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams
- Develop and provide a mentoring capability to project team members
- Display effective and engaging interpersonal skills
- Coordinate high level meetings and lead discussions on set agendas
- Compliance with all workplace health and safety statutes, regulations, and prescribed procedures
- Undertake any other duties that are reasonably within the scope of your skills, competence, and training
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in a business management discipline
- Substantial experience and skills in governance and managing programs and all aspects of project management
- Demonstrated advanced communication, facilitation and negotiation skills in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Technical experience in overseeing the development of reporting and analysis of data for decision making purposes
- Proven experience with ensuring personal and team compliance with workplace health and safety statutes, regulations and prescribed procedures
- Detailed knowledge of the breadth and complexity of governance and program practices in a local government context
- Must have a current valid "C" class drivers license
