Company Background:
We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join a leading national soft services company committed to delivering excellence in all areas of their business. As the Finance Manager, you will be a key player in our finance department and an integral part of our senior management team.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
3. Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing insightful recommendations to senior management.
4. Lead the preparation of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and other key financial reports.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning, investment decisions, and cost optimization initiatives.
6. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
7. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and prevent financial fraud.
8. Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, and communicate performance updates to the leadership team.
9. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements:
10. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
11. Proven experience (circa 5-7 years) in financial management, preferably in a large and complex organization. Experience in the Facilities Services industry is a must.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
13. Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
14. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
15. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
16. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
17. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
18. Experience in the services industry is advantageous.
