Business Financial Director
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced finance skilled to lead our business financial function across multiple sites and regions. This is a high-impact, hands-on role offering full commercial ownership of operations.
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
Full ownership of financial and month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of results
Prepare monthly performance packs and present to national finance and executive leadership
Review project milestones and capital spend tracking
Support tenders and bid submissions in conjunction with regional leaders
Develop insights through dashboards and commercial analysis to support decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for a commercially-minded finance professional with strong business partnering experience and the confidence to operate at both detail and strategic levels. Key attributes include:
CA/CPA qualification
Proven commercial finance experience, ideally within construction, civil, infrastructure, or contracting sectors
Strong month-end and financial reporting capability
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders
Comfortable with legacy systems and ERP
Collaborative, resilient, and comfortable in a transforming environment
Confident communicator who can challenge and influence when needed
