The Lotus Institute is seeking an experienced, passionate Skin & Laser Therapist to join our specialist practice.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a plastic and reconstructive surgical environment, supporting patients through their skin journey both before and after surgical procedures, while building and growing your own loyal client base.
We are looking for a therapist who truly lives and breathes skin health, values education and results-driven treatments, and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin.
About the Role
* 1–2 days per week initially
* Strong potential to grow into full-time for the right candidate
* Opportunity to build and grow your client base through consultation, treatment planning and rebooking
* Work closely alongside our Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons supporting patients with:
o Pre-operative skin preparation
o Post-operative scar management and skin optimisation
o Long-term skin health maintenance
o Patients seeking results while maintaining skin integrity before surgery
You will play an important role in helping patients achieve the healthiest skin possible before surgical procedures and maintain optimal skin quality long term.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Skin or Laser Therapist
* Must hold a current Open QLD Laser Licence
* Confident working autonomously / as a sole operator
* Strong consultation and treatment planning skills
* Proven ability with client conversion, treatment recommendations and rebooking
* Comfortable working towards KPIs and clinic sales targets
* Confident on camera and comfortable educating patients and performing treatments for clinic social media content
* Passion for patient education and long-term skin health
Clinical Experience Required
Experience treating:
* Pigment conditions
* Vascular lesions
* IPL treatments
* Chemical peels
* Jessner peels
* Skin needling
* Pigment removal
* Facial veins
Highly Regarded Experience
Experience with the following is advantageous:
* BBL
* MOXI
* Laser Genesis
* Post-operative scar management
* Experience working with a Quanta System Chrome laser preferred but not essential
* iS Clinical training
