About the Role
The Cardiac MR fellowship position is tailored for trainees who have finished their core cardiology training and sub‐specialty training in advanced echo and cardiac CT. Fellows will be expected to be involved in case selection, image acquisition and processing, and reporting of results under consultant supervision. Fellows will be encouraged to participate in imaging‐based research projects and may undertake a higher degree.
Responsibilities
* Involvement in case selection, image acquisition and processing for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
* Reporting of imaging results under consultant supervision.
* Participation in imaging‐based research projects and academic activities.
About You
To ensure success in this role, you should bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
* Passion for non‐invasive cardiac imaging.
* Strong self‐motivation, well‐organised and skilled at multi‐tasking.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a busy team environment.
Mandatory Requirements
* Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent.
* Australian working rights.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Employee Working with Children's Check.
* Current driver's licence.
