We are looking for an Infrastructure Planning Engineers toapply technical engineering expertise and strategic thinking to support theplanning and delivery of infrastructure across Camden's rapidly growingcommunity.
The roles focus on shaping how infrastructure is planned,prioritised and delivered to support sustainable growth. You will play and keyrole in contributing to long‐term planning and work across teams to ensureinfrastructure is coordinated, evidence‐based and aligned to our communityneeds.
These roles are suited to experienced engineers seeking toexpand their influence from project‐based delivery into strategicinfrastructure planning, funding alignment and cross‐organisationalcoordination.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering,
* Demonstrated experience in the planning and design of civil engineering projects,
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and achieve outcomes within budget and to defined timelines,
* Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to relate well to internal and external clients and the ability to write analytical and logical reports drawing justified conclusions.
* Ability to deliver a strong customer/community service focus utilising strong negotiation skills,
* Driver's licence
* Experience in assessing traffic reports/modelling and/or stormwater & flood reports/modelling,
* Understanding of Local Government operations, processes, and administrative procedures.
* Experience in Development Assessment
