Product Quality Specialist
We are seeking a Product Quality Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the sampling, testing and reporting of final product quality as part of our Quality Assurance process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist technical support on sampling, testing and product quality to our Quality Team
* Act as the primary technical interface between Operations and Sales and Marketing in relation to product quality
* Manage our Sequence Quality Incident Management system to identify quality incidents through testing and issues raised by customers
* Ensure standardised reports (Spreadsheets and Certificates) are available from our NATA certified Quality Assurance Laboratory delivering real value in terms of managing product quality and facilitating a high level of laboratory efficiency
* Regular reporting on our Benchmarking including monitoring relative performance of our products against competitor products, and implement programs to address identified issues
* Lead and promote our safety, quality and environmental policies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Science (Chemistry), Materials Science/Engineering, Manufacturing or Geology is beneficial but not essential
* Experience in a construction materials laboratory environment and with recording and tracking quality incidents through an Incident Management System
* Analytical skills with some statistical process control methodologies
* Computer literacy and Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to develop reports
