As our highly valued Remuneration and People Insights Analyst based in Brisbane your role will work within the Performance, Reward & Benefits portfolio and partner closely with People and Culture peers, Finance and business leaders.
You are a specialist contributor without direct reports, supporting the disciplined execution of remuneration and performance processes and strengthening the quality of our people insights.
You'll make an impact by:
* You play a key role in supporting the Performance, Reward & Benefits portfolio through high quality people analytics across the full employee lifecycle, including attraction, mobility, performance, engagement, reward, retention and workforce composition.
* You prepare and analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities that impact performance, capability and employee experience.
* You support the development and maintenance of dashboards and recurring reporting that provide leaders with meaningful visibility of workforce dynamics.
* You translate complex data into clear, practical insights that enable confident decision making.
* You partner with People and Culture colleagues and Finance to connect people insights with broader commercial and workforce considerations.
* You support leaders and People and Culture peers to interpret workforce data, helping them understand key drivers and emerging patterns.
* You respond to ad hoc analytics requests using structured thinking and sound judgement.
* You provide analytical support to remuneration activities, including preparation of validated data sets and market benchmarking analysis.
* You handle remuneration related data with discretion and confidentiality.
Do things differently with us
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* You bring 2+ years experience in an analyst or data focused role, ideally within workforce analytics, HR reporting, remuneration, finance or a related field.
* Experience with Databricks or PowerBI (preferred)
* You have prepared structured reports and generated insights that inform business decisions.
* You are comfortable working with large data sets and applying sound analytical methods.
* You have experience using spreadsheets to manipulate and analyse data, including formulas, pivot tables and basic modelling.
* Experience in financial services or another regulated environment is desirable but not essential.
Your Qualifications
* You may hold tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Human Resources, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
* Formal qualifications are valued, however demonstrated analytical capability and practical experience are equally important.
