The Role

We're looking for an Electronic Initiation Technician to support the introduction and use of electronic initiation systems at key customer sites predominantly across the Bowen Basin though may be elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region.

What You'll Do

Lead site conversions to electronic detonators, including trials and training.
Train blasting teams in both classroom and field environments.
Provide hands-on support, including loading, troubleshooting, and firing blasts.
Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation.
Conduct site inspections and maintenance of electronic initiation equipment

What You'll Bring

You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture

You have experience in blasting operations, including at least two years working with electronic detonators. You will hold a current Shotfirer's Licence and a Dangerous Goods Licence. You have a strong understanding of drill & blast technology and are comfortable working on-site and travelling as needed. You're competent with computers, including MS Office, and ideally have experience with blast design software. A Cert 4 Trainer Assessor qualification would be an advantage.
