Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation program under the guidance of ITSA, overseeing cybersecurity projects including policy uplift, the Essential Eight maturity levels, and compliance activities.
* Develop ICT systems Certification and Accreditation documentation to support Authority to Operate processes.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering cybersecurity awareness and skills development.
* Support stakeholder engagement through executive reporting, risk assessments, and compliance updates.
* Develop and refine Cybersecurity GRC frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulations and best practices.
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a cybersecurity leadership role, with in-depth knowledge of Commonwealth Government security frameworks (PSPF, ISM).
* Strong expertise in creating security documentation (SRMP, SRA, SSP, Annex A, SOPs) and conducting Essential Eight-compliant security assessments.
* Proven experience leading cybersecurity teams, implementing security controls, compliance measures, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with government regulations.
