Their collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement position them as leaders in Australia’s metal fabrication industry. About the Role: Our client is currently seeking qualified Boilermakers/Welders (Metal Fabricators) to join their team in Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople to contribute to high-impact industrial and structural projects in a technically advanced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: -Interpret technical plans and drawings to perform welding and fabrication tasks;
-Cut, shape, and assemble structural steel components; -Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding according to specifications; -Inspect completed welds and components to ensure they meet industry standards;
-Work with various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium; -Operate welding and fabrication machinery, including power and hand tools; -Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workspace;
-Collaborate with supervisors and trade colleagues to ensure timely project delivery; -Mentor apprentices and junior team members as needed. Candidate Requirements:
-Trade qualification in welding, metal fabrication, or boilermaking; -Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding or steel fabrication; -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
-Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (highly regarded); -Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills; -Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards;
