The Role
The Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network Pharmacy provides services across NSW. The pharmacy is a friendly team of enthusiastic individuals who provide a wide range of pharmaceutical services to the Network. This includes adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
This position works as part of the dispensary team to provide safe, efficient and effective dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals across the Network, as well as providing assistance in ordering, stock control and any clerical duties as required.
All experienced pharmacy assistants or technicians are eligible to apply. Suitable candidates will be eligible for the highest classification level as determined by the Health Employees' (State) Award. To be eligible for Grade 2 Assistant or higher, eligible candidates must demonstrate completion of Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent) or Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent) or Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent).
