About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist at HMS, you will:
* Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based assessments using outcome measurement tools
* Develop tailored therapy plans to support participants in achieving functional goals
* Provide intervention for children, adolescents, and adults across speech, language, communication, voice, and/or swallowing disorders
* Manage a varied caseload including NDIS participants, private clients, and GP/school referrals
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (families, carers, educators, support workers)
* Collaborate within an multidisciplinary allied health team
* Contribute to group programs, workshops, or service development (optional but encouraged)

Essential Criteria
To be considered, you will have:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology
* Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration
* Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and/or NDIS
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Valid driver's licence

Additional Requirements
Successful applicants must hold (or be willing to obtain):
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Professional indemnity & public liability insurance
* First Aid & CPR certification
Experience working within NDIS or disability settings is preferred, however not essential.
