The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Rural General Practitioner (VMO) to join our busy, well-supported practice and provide VMO services at Smithton District Hospital. With capacity for 7 full-time GP VMOs, you'll join a solid team that shares the load (and the on-call). Expect variety, autonomy, and engaging medicine.
The hospital features:
* 12 acute care beds
* Emergency department
* Midwifery clinic
* Visiting specialists (you won't be alone out here)

You'll Need
* General or Vocational Registration with AHPRA
* Experience managing a broad scope of GP presentations
* A current emergency medicine certificate (ALS2, REST, or equivalent)
* Recent unsupervised experience in an emergency setting
