The Human Resources Officer plays a vital role in supporting HR operations across our centres. As we continue to grow, this hands-on position is ideal for someone hardworking and detail-oriented with a passion for learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate HR records, including employment contracts, personal details, and compliance documentation
* Manage HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
* Provide timely advice on HR policies, leave entitlements, and performance processes
* Handle employee relations matters including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and Early Childhood sector regulations
* Monitor changes in legislation and update policies accordingly
* Manage WHS-related records, conduct workplace checks, and support incident investigations
* Coordinate workers' compensation matters and implement Return to Work plans
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
* 1-3 years' experience in an HR or administration role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A positive attitude, resilience, and strong work ethic
