Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia.
The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes.
The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.
About the Role:
Read drawings, work orders, and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
Select, clean, and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools, and equipment.
Use cutting/welding equipment and boiler making tools to install, fabricate, weld, and/or repair structural components, pipe supports, caissons, & J-Tube installation.
Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing, or soldering.
Operate machines, equipment, and tools in a safe and appropriate manner.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc welding.
Qualifications and Experience:
Construction White/Blue Card
Experience in FCAW and SMAW welding processes
Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres certifications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience working FIFO/Mining/Construction/Projects is advantageous
Current Driver's License
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
