Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional chairside assistance to our Dentists, ensuring quality patient care and providing a great first impression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing patients and facilities for dental treatment
* Delivering quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
* Treatment coordination
* Providing instrument sterilisation
* Maintaining infection control standards and procedures
* Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
* Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
* Making patients aware of dental services and offers
* Handling payments
* Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
* High-end patient care; building and maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly and warm manner
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is available to work 1-2 days per week, with potential for extra hours in the future. Ideally, you'll have 1+ years' experience working in a similar role, with a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded. You'll also need to be a motivated self-starter, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, passionate about customer service and patient care, organised with attention to detail, and able to build rapport with patients in a cheerful and light-hearted manner.
