Job Description
As a Project Officer, you will support planning, coordination and delivery of readiness activities across multiple workstreams. You do not need to be an expert in everything – the project welcomes candidates with strengths in specific areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Process
o Support SME engagement across the department.
o Assist with process mapping, documentation and impact assessment.
* Change & Training
o Coordinate change activities, training sessions and readiness updates.
o Support the change champion network and communications.
* Reporting & Analytics
o Coordinate access to reporting environments (including SAP Analytics Cloud).
o Identify reporting gaps and support governance reporting readiness.
* Testing (UAT)
o Define UAT scope, onboard testers and coordinate execution.
o Track progress, defects and ensure evidence meets audit requirements.
* Data Migration (Support)
o Work with SMEs on data cleansing, profiling and reconciliation.
o Assist with trial conversions and cutover preparation.
* Integrations (Support)
o Coordinate agency inputs into integration testing and validation.
o Track risks, issues and dependencies related to integration points.

A Successful AO6 Project Officer Should Have
* Previous experience in project management or coordination within the public sector or a related industry.
* Strong knowledge of technology‐related projects and their unique requirements.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving and decision‐making.
* A relevant qualification in project management or a related field is highly regarded.
* Change management, training or stakeholder engagement experience.
* UAT/testing coordination experience.
