The Role
The TAFE SA Centre of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care is seeking to engage a competent, experienced Learning Designer to lead initiatives that support the organisation's product development priorities. Reporting to the Educational Manager, in this role, you will contribute as a key member of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, while also taking ownership of the design and delivery of high-quality, student-centred, and technology-enhanced learning experiences, projects, and resources across both accredited and non-accredited programs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse teams. They will also lead research, analysis, and the implementation of innovative approaches and emerging technologies to support the continuous improvement of learning and assessment resource development.
What You'll Do:
* Provide strategic guidance on blended and online learning pedagogy (andragogy), as well as complex instructional design and development processes.
* Coordinate the planning and scheduling of online learning projects in alignment with organisational priorities, utilising the TAFE SA learning design framework.
* Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to assess needs, and to design, develop, and deliver tailored learning solutions that address the requirements of diverse student cohorts.
* Lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of learning methodologies and resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality blended and online education.
* Oversee the implementation of learning materials and programs that adhere to quality assurance and compliance standards, in accordance with the regulatory standards for RTOs and other relevant legislative requirements.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
* Out of hours work may be required.
* Some Intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
* Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
