What You Will Do & What You Will Bring As a Senior System Engineer, you will: Provide technical leadership to cross-functional systems engineering teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Consult with internal and external clients to understand program goals, translating their needs into technical solutions and project strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative product solutions, with a focus on medical devices and instruments. Oversee Systems Engineering activities such as Requirements Management, Systems Performance, Technical Risk, Integration, Verification, and Manufacturing Transfer. Drive continuous improvement across systems engineering processes and methodologies, aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Support strategic program development by contributing to bid proposals, resourcing plans, and workload forecasting. Mentor and coach team members, developing systems engineering capability within the group and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. In addition, we require the following skills and experience: Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, ideally within medical device or instrument product development (consulting experience a plus) Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams across mechanical, electronic, and software disciplines Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Agile product development methodologies Experience with regulatory standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP Familiarity with technical risk management standards such as ISO 14971 and IEC 60812 Proficiency with tools like JAMA (requirements management) and JIRA (collaboration) Proven track record in structured problem-solving, integration strategies, and systems testing Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations and work effectively across cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills What we offer: Along with a great team of people to work with, at Invetech we also offer a subsidized gym, subsidized canteen, a comprehensive EAP, free onsite parking, and various social clubs and events, just to name a few!
