The Sydney Jewish Museum (SJM) is a world-class cultural institution, dedicated to documenting and teaching the history of the Holocaust and promoting understanding of the Jewish faith, culture and traditions. Each year over 50,000 visitors come to the Sydney Jewish Museum in Darlinghurst, which is one of Australia's most important Museums examining the history of the Holocaust. The Museum has over 250 volunteers and 35 dedicated staff, who work closely with our Holocaust survivors, to tell powerful personal stories of survival, resistance and migration to Australia.
The new Museum has placed greater emphasis on the integration of IT and AV into the expansion design to include not only users but visitor experience and digital engagement.
The IT and AV Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the organisation's IT and AV services and ensuring all technology systems and applications support the organisation's goals and objective.
The IT and AV Manager role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including software and hardware management, systems implementation, AV support, administration and the execution of strategic tasks.
The IT and AV Manager reports to the Head of Operations (HoO) and has key working relationships throughout the SJM.
The IT and AV Manager continuously seeks to enhance the effectiveness of the SJM's IT and Museum systems, ensuring they meet organisational goals and provide optimal user experience.
