City Venue Management is excited to welcome a General Manager to lead our operations at our newest location, Logan North Aquatic Centre (Our 41st site). As General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the facility from aquatic programs and fitness services to customer experience and team leadership making this venue a leading destination for fitness, wellbeing and community involvement.

What We're Looking For:Operational Leadership & Facility Management
* Lead end-to-end operational management of the Logan North Aquatic Centre.
* Drive consistency, quality, and compliance across all facility operations, including aquatic, gym, and customer service areas.
* Champion health and safety excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous facility improvement.
* Monitor performance indicators and deliver strategic plans aligned with organisational goals.
Team Leadership & Development
* Inspire, mentor, and lead a dynamic team of staff including supervisors, instructors, lifeguards, and front-of-house professionals.
* Build a strong leadership pipeline through coaching and development initiatives.
* Embed a culture of accountability, team connection, and excellence in customer experience.
* Deliver performance outcomes through effective workforce planning and engagement strategies.
Program & Experience Delivery
* Ensure best-practice delivery of all aquatic, fitness, and wellness programs.
* Collaborate with program managers to drive quality and participation in swim schools, squads, and group training.
* Uphold high service standards and evolve program offerings based on data, feedback, and industry trends.
* Champion a customer-first culture throughout every touchpoint of the venue.
Business Development & Community Engagement
* Grow the venue's profile and participation through strategic partnerships and local engagement.
* Work closely with marketing to drive enrolments, memberships, and event success.
* Build strong relationships with schools, sporting clubs, and community organisations.
* Use insights and reporting tools to enhance decision-making and business outcomes.
About You
You are a driven and experienced General Manager or Facility Leader with a strong background in aquatics, health, or fitness industries. You bring:
* Demonstrated success managing complex, high-volume facilities.
* Exceptional people leadership and operational management capabilities.
* Deep understanding of aquatic operations, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.
* Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams with energy, purpose, and professionalism.
* A commitment to outstanding customer service and community connection.
* Strong business acumen, budgeting, and performance reporting experience.
