Responsibilities
* Support individuals by implementing Behaviour Support Plans to enhance quality of life, reduce restrictive practices, and ensure safety
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
* Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans aligned with NDIS goals
* Collaborate with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Educate stakeholders on Behaviour Support plans
* Deliver services in line with Quality and Safeguarding frameworks
* Evaluate and adjust strategies for effectiveness
* Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines
* Meet billable KPIs while maintaining clinical integrity
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong understanding of Behaviour Support responsibilities
* High-level English proficiency
* Clinical expertise in psychosocial disorders and NDIS guidelines
* Empathy and support skills
* Problem-solving and evidence-based strategies
* Collaboration and communication skills
* Credibility and integrity in service delivery
* Team player with a strong work ethic
* NDIS Suitability Letter indicating suitability as a NDIS registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Support Work, or Education
* Minimum 1 year experience in Behavioural Support (highly desirable)
* Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR)
* Proficiency in spoken and written English
Employment Conditions
This role involves direct support to people with disabilities and requires NDIS Worker Screening clearance or an acceptable check.
