Duration: Initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options
Location: Canberra (on-site, hybrid considered)
Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 security clearance required
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Business Change Managers to support the delivery of key projects and initiatives within a Federal Government agency.
These roles are critical to ensuring successful project outcomes, timely delivery, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
Design and deliver communications, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Conduct change impact assessments and readiness evaluations to guide business units.
Monitor and report on adoption, benefits realisation, and performance outcomes.
Provide expert advice on change management methodologies and best practices.
Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to support business continuity.
Collaborate with project teams, executives, and stakeholders to align change efforts.
Develop and execute communication strategies using digital adoption tools.
Lead change readiness assessments and provide actionable insights.
Mentor and coach staff to foster a culture of adaptability and learning.
Maintain documentation and records in line with organisational standards.
Support the Change Management Practice through knowledge transfer and practice building.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in business change management within complex environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to design and deliver training and adoption programs.
Familiarity with digital adoption tools and change frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
Demonstrated ability to manage risks and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
Previous experience in Federal Government projects.
NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
