Job Overview
The Research Governance Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of clinical trials across the organisation, maintaining regulatory compliance and risk management.
* Act as primary point of contact for all governance-related matters, providing expert guidance and support.
* Maintain and enhance governance application processes to align with organisational guidelines, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
* Review and update governance procedures, SOPs and guidelines in collaboration with Operations leadership, driving continuous improvement.
* Identify and mitigate regulatory risk through accurate trial documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in clinical research, preferably with extensive knowledge of Research Governance and Ethics processes.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, contracts, insurance, indemnity and risk requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
