The Role
We require the services of a highly experienced and strategic marketing manager.
* The Marketing Manager is a pivotal role which will oversee the creation, implementation and management of the annual marketing calendar. This includes promotional campaigns, local area marketing, product launches and events, drive brand growth and market leadership while working collaboratively with others to achieve success.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and brand activity, to grow group sales and further develop brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities
* Use insights collected via market research and competitive analysis, to underpin marketing strategy to ultimately drive customers into store.
* Drive ‘brand awareness', ensuring the Dreamland brand maintains its market leading position.
* Work alongside agency partners to develop relevant media and social content aligned to brand strategy and local campaigns.
* Identify new opportunities for brand growth and recognition
* Manage brand and content development, including but not limited to, broadcast, social media, collaborations (including licensing), events, in-store, website and promotional campaigns, while adhering to brand values and principles.
* Oversee the execution of pricing updates, promotional campaigns, store ticketing, across all channels (print and digital), while maintaining compliance with legislative requirements.
* Effectively negotiate with suppliers and partners to achieve commercially sound outcomes.
* Understand the economics of store and partner profitability and factor this in decision making.
* Assisting with certain aspects of our furniture import business
Keeping the organisation’s vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
Candidate Attributes and Experience
* Experience is essential to this role with a minimum of 5+years as an expectation.
* Positive team player who invests time and effort top to achieve results with the ability to work autonomously.
* Strong organisational and reporting abilities, with a proactive approach to managing deadlines, deliverables and multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written including a demonstrated ability to produce high quality collateral, proposals, discussion papers and reports.
* A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions, handle challenges and find creative solutions.
* A keen eye for identifying business opportunities, bringing creativity to commercial discussions and effectively working closely with agencies to create high-quality outcomes.
