Job Opportunity for Experienced HR Professional

This is a unique opportunity to develop yourself professionally, while working closely with stakeholders to implement business practices that will add significant value to the business.

The role involves supporting operational leaders, maintaining best practices, people development and management across a broad spectrum of HR functions.

* Recruitment Expertise:
o Spearhead end-to-end recruitment processes for blue-collar trades roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of technical skill sets and industry nuances.
o Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and workforce requirements.
o Act as a strategic partner, providing guidance on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.
* Employee Development and Retention:
o Implement programs to support the ongoing development of employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
o Work closely with managers to identify and address employee engagement and retention challenges - while implementing effective solutions.

Key Skills and Experience:*

* Proven experience in HR, with a focus on recruiting for blue-collar trades roles.
* In-depth knowledge of technical skill requirements for various trades positions.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR initiatives.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think innovatively and recommend strategies & solutions.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics to inform business decision making.
* A results-orientated focus, with the ability to operate autonomously and problem solve.
* Strong recruitment background.
* Tertiary qualifications in HR are preferred although equivalent industry experience will be considered.
