About the Opportunity Our Hudson Trade Centre Mitre 10 store in Kirrawee, NSW is on the lookout for a reliable, organised and proactive Dispatch Manager to take charge of daily logistics and help ensure smooth, on-time deliveries for our customers and builders.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll manage delivery schedules, coordinate with drivers, resolve delivery issues, and handle ad-hoc purchasing for our timber yard.
You'll play a key role in making sure our customers have a seamless experience, every time.
This is a full-time position with great hours from 6:14am – 2:50pm including a one-hour lunch break.

What you'll be doing Use our Delivery Management System (DMS) to schedule and confirm dispatch orders Coordinate delivery runs and communicate plans with drivers Keep customers informed about any expected delays Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues as they arise Allocate stock within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety standards Place purchase orders and manage ad-hoc purchasing tasks for the timber yard Support the Store Manager with general logistics and operational need What you'll bring Proven experience in logistics, scheduling, or distribution Background in trade or warehousing is a plus (but not essential) A current forklift licence (preferred) Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to stay calm under pressure Great attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Familiarity with DMS platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
