Base pay range
A$90,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yr
Are you confident on the phone, outstanding with people, and ready to combine your customer service skills with the world of finance? At Karmo, we’re seeking a Collections & Credit Specialist who can balance being proactive and target-driven while showing empathy and care when speaking with customers.
If you enjoy smashing through 20–30 calls a day, resolving issues quickly, and building trust with every interaction, this is the role for you. Alongside collections, you’ll also play an important part in receivables administration, keeping our finance operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Make 20–30 outbound collection calls daily with confidence and empathy
- Manage overdue accounts while building strong, positive customer relationships
- Respond to billing and payment enquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Manage receivables operations including invoicing, receipting, and reconciliations
- Generate ageing reports and support month-end processes
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to resolve account issues
- Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce debt
What You’ll Bring
- Previous customer service or collections experience (finance industry a plus)
- Confidence to handle a high volume of calls while keeping a positive, professional tone
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with an empathetic style
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with finance systems, CRM tools, or similar platforms
- A proactive mindset—you don’t wait for problems, you solve them
